wonder if anyone can help me. For Christmas I bought a Fossil QR watch which runs Wear OS. One of the reasons that I bought it was because I wanted to replace my pool mate watch and also use it as a fitness tracker. I have an iPhone and the shop assistant assured me that the watch was compatible with the iPhone, even though it was running Wear OS. A month down the line I still haven’t got ANY swiming app to work.
My Swim Pro loads on both my phone and my watch, but the two don’t talk to each other. (Also I wanted an app that would count my lengths and just let me swim and not charge me a monthly subscription).
Strava sort of works, but there is no swimming option, only running and cycling.
Swim.com on the phone does not give me the option of wear OS as a device (only apple watch, Samsung or Garmin) and swim.com does not appear in the Play Store on the watch as an app. If I go the Play store (on my phone) it shows that the fossil watch is an option, but will not let me install it (presumably as I am using an iPhone).
Does anyone have any other suggestions? If not I may take the watch back and just bite the bullet and buy and iWatch (which is a shame as I think the Fossil watches look so much nicer).
Thanks
