*SWIPE* anywhere on AOD (Always on Display) to unlock/proceed/wake-up?

Call me lazy and absurdly spoiled by this ridiculously kick-*** phone, but I really like AOD and I'm in a secure place all day and I use no screen security (I have it set to "none", not even swipe to unlock) --

So to get to my home screen from AOD I have to get to that very small virtual square home button at the bottom center of the AOD screen and double-click or longpress it, and that will enter/wake-up and display the home screen in one step.

BUT I'd just loooooooove to be able to

-- *swipe* (instead of doubletapping) *anywhere* on the AOD screen to go to my home screen, or even

-- double tap *anywhere* on the AOD screen instead of having to pinpoint that small little square every time.

Just a faster and easier way to wake the thing up and enter every time.

Does anyone know if there's an app or modification that makes this possible?
Am I the only one?
I've searched like crazy and I can't find anything.

The closest you can get is one you already mentioned. Double tap the virtual Home Button then swipe anywhere. I've tried a few third party apps but they all just interfere with Samsungs security unlocking or they eat huge amounts of battery. I love double tap to wake on other phones so you're not alone but it just ain't happening

Hey thanks for the fast reply and right on ,, this seems so obvious, like it's just kinda un-necessarily over-difficult ... maybe given time an app will appear? Where do I submit my request!

I have mine setup to just tap home once... That's all I have to go. AOD is on too

Just set it up where if you forcepress on the home button it unlocks the phone.

Is there really a setting to "tap once" on the very small virtual square home button at the bottom-center of the AOD screen? That would be a small improvement from best I've found!:

I can either *double*-tap it, or long-hold-press it like andrew_ackley describes below. Both seem a little much - just an unnecessary project 20x a day to find that little square. Why not tap or double-tap *anywhere* on that screen, or *swipe* anywhere on that screen....
