Swipe to unlock AND pattern lock, huh?

It is the APP that makes your phone like a Windows phone that is doing this. Wplauncher or simular. Even if you not using it it is running in the background changing the lock screen and adding slider.

*SOLUTION* (requires Installation of Xposed)

I have the opposite issue I found this thread trying to get swipe before unlock back so I can use lockscreen widgets.

Anyway, listen up everyone the app Protected Apps
available in both Play Store and Xposed Repo enables the behavior you are all seeking with no way to turn it off it seems. However for the readers of this thread it's exactly what you want! Whenever the lock screen appears it immediately brings up your default unlock method. No swiping and no notifications.

Hope this helps someone!

I have a lock screen pattern setup for my N9. So why do I have to swipe to unlock and THEN enter the lock screen pattern? It would be best if I could simply turn the screen on and then immediately enter the unlock code.

Why do I first have to swipe? This step seems unnecessary and it doesn't seem like there is a way to disable the swipe.

Am I missing something here?

1+ on this. Isn´t there a way to simply disable this feature? Without having to further install stuff? This is completely useless. At the very least, it shouldn´t be a default thing that appears without my asking. Instead of making things more simple Android decided to complicate everything with an absoluteley pointless extra step. I´m going back to the previous Lollipop version today until this issue is fixed.

I hope this isn't a duplicate

I went into the lock settings on my samsung galaxy s6 and turned off all the functions for the smart unlock that recognizes my location a Bluetooth device or anything like that and so far I don't have to swipe before entering pin I've also tried it for the fingerprint unlock and it seems to be working as well

Well it's not the solution that we all want, but KK locker will allow you to bypass it's notification screen and go straight to password or pattern.

Who are the idiotic programmers that done that. I would FIRE YOUR ***.
Look how many unhappy users.
Do this thing as optional.

I've been going nuts trying to figure this out because I had it fixed once before but I reset my phone.

Under security settings, enable "Power button shows lock screen." This will bypass the initial swipe screen. If you use Smart Lock, enabling this will change your lock screen to the generic swipe lock screen for trusted places, etc..

I went to settings, security then turned on "Power button turns on lock screen" No more second swipe for me now.

Assuming that everyone here is a dedicated Android geek and has rooted and installed xposed on their phone, an easy solution is to install GravityBox and fiddle with some of the options under the lockscreen menu.

Pretty sure there is an option in there that allows you to directly bring up the pattern once you turn on the screen.

I personally like seeing the lockscreen regardless if there's a pattern (hint hint: oh I don't know, to check the time maybe?), but to each their own I guess.
