With the new 6.1 installed, when you hold down the home button the circle to search comes up. There is also a microphone. Apparently that microphone is for Google search. Is there any way to switch it to Google Assistant so I can still tell it to run my lights and everything that's going on in the house?

Microphone not going be Google search tap the "G" to the left of microphone
I don't think I'm explaining it good enough.
How do I keep circle to search and what the home button originally did when you worked previously hold it down?

Previously when you hold the home button down Google Assistant would come up and you could ask it things or give it commands.

It doesn't do that anymore. I want to be able to keep both.

I explained earlier on to toggle both those options on in my screenshot, and you can do the Google assistant by going to the edges and swipe inwards, it explains it right next to the toggles

I open the google voice assistant by holding down the power button. Its a setting in good lock registar. I figured the amount of times I actually power off or restart the phone, i can give up that button to do something else, and if I need to use the power off or restart, just swipe down from the top twice.
