Switch pixel 5a to LTE

My unlocked 5a is on at&t. I want to switch it from 5g to LTE but haven't found a way to do it. Any ideas?

Hi there, I think AT&T disable the setting to do this. Normally you would change it under setting, network.

Thank you for your comment, Kizzy. Yes, att disables it. On my samsung phone I downloaded the Samsung Band Selection app which unlocks those hidden settings. I haven't been able to find a comparable app for pixel phones, but I will keep searching. Thanks again, and have a pleasant evening.

I'm in the US. When I did this with my 4a5G I had to call AT&T and have them remove the 5g band from my account on their end. I tried going through the options local to the phone. That being said, the 4a5G only has a symbol for 5g. Meaning even if you're on LTE, it still shows as 5G because it's not programmed to display any other connection. This is according to Google support.

So call your carrier and see if they can disable it from their end.
