i made the switch from iPhone to s8 and have been very happy. Just want to share some thoughts.
This is not the first time i have done this but this time i am staying with my s8. Over the last few years i get the bug around july to with to switch to a droid i can't tell you how many times. But this time it was different i did it for a few reasons the camera was a big one for me. The fact android has come along way with the lag still have some when typing a fast sms message or the phone gets hot and some bluetooth issues other then that this phone is great the feel the look and the ease of use. I will tell you that i still have apple tech laptop and a few other things. I know everyone complains about iMessage but these days whatsapp makes it easier and to be honest i do more and WhatsApp messaging so not a big loss. my email and contacts and calendar all gmail so thats easy. Now some of the fluff apple is a follower now! Yes they have come up with some great stuff i can't take it away from apple. But today is a different story they are first coming it with tech that samsung has been using before them but i will say they polish it better. I always say to people who ask me what they should do when buying apple or droid i say if you want simple go with apple if you want some fun and have patience go with android. My girlfriend just switched over and i told her be patient and i will teach you the ins and outs of using the S8, of course the first 2 days she almost killed me. i told her she hasn't taken the time to learn it yet haha, now she loves it. We both have iphones 7 as well. i told her put it away and force yourself to work with the droid. As of today she is learning and starting to appreciate the S8 quality and the android way. I am not so sure this was a good idea now because she is pushing all the girlfriends to switch and wants me to teach them! Ugh what did i create! Love S8 is a great phone aside from some of the kinks.
