Started a T-Mobile no contract account with unlimited data. Worked fine when I had a connection. So today I went to AT&T and activated a go phone Sim and installed that. So far calls and texts are fine. I get a blue H and four bars mostly. Can't stream with Google music, can't download apps, web pages take forever. Supposedly have good hspa+ coverage but data so far sucks. Any suggestions would be great.

I use this:

Nexus 4 ATT Settings

Settings>More>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names

The most important part is the next step, the reason everyone's getting crappy speeds is the APN. LG programed the default AT&T APN as wap.cingular, that's an old APN. Use the following settings and restart your phone. You should be all set.

Name: AT&T
APN: PTA
Proxy:Not set
Port:Not set
Username:Not set
Password:Not set
Server:Not set
MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
MMS Proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication type:default,admin,fota,mms,supl,hipri
APN type: default,admin,fota,mms,supl,hipri
APN protocol: IPv4
APN Roaming:IPv4
Bearer: Unspecified
MVNO type: None

How much you paying on GO?
How many:
Minutes?
Text?
Data?

Supposedly coverage is diminished, but I don't know by how much. Seems to be there for everywhere in my daily happenings. I'm saving $15-20 a month by this plan, which is fine by me.

$60 unlimited talk and text. 2 gig data. Thanks for the info. Going to try that now.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

These settings worked for me. I am getting both LTE and H+ (even though my LTE speeds are showing less than the H+). They are a heck of a lot better than the 0.04mbps I was getting with stale cingular settings.
