Switching between two calendars

I've searched all over the web, but can't seem to find much help.

Here's the deal. I have a google calendar (for personal use) and an exchange account calendar (for work). I don't like viewing the two calendars together at the same time. Is there anyway to have seperate calendar views without going into the settings/preferences and clicking one and unclicking the other each time I want to see the other one? Ideally, I'd like to have a shortcut on my home page to each calendar individually.

I tried using two separate programs (the standard calendar and a 3rd party calendar), but I can't do individual calendar views in them (when I change the calendar I want to view in one, it changes the calendar view in the other program as well)

The only thing I've been able to do is use the calendar app for work and bookmark Google calendar online and adjust my personal calendar that way but it's not as quick as I'd like it to be.

Your short-term answer sounds like about the best way to do it. If you have Launcher Pro Plus, you can have a calendar widget on screen all the time, with agenda, day, week, month or whatever you prefer showing. I don't know if you can select a particular calendar for this.

LPP also has a widget for bookmarks (with a variety of display options). If you had the LPP Calendar and the LPP bookmarks widgets near to each other (you can adjust widget sizes after you place them on the screen), it might make things a bit faster.

I think you can use two separate calendars with Jorte. I think.

I've been searching for a good replacement for my LPP calendar widget and that's my favorite so far. Haven't had a whole lot of time to play with it yet though.

I've tried Jorte and it can't get it to show me the separate view. It changes the master view calendar view as well. So far I've tried Jorte, Irt and Business Calendar Beta with no luck.

I use Pure Calendar and combine both work and personal calendars with it. I like it a lot.

one option is to use the motorola calendar widget - when you create the widget, you can select all calendars or individual ones.

basically you can create two widgets - one for your personal calendar and one for your exchange calendar

Thanks for the ideas. I tried the Motorola widget, but if I don't have a calendar visible (in this case my work calendar) in the main calendar settings, the widget won't give me the option to view it.

When I make my work calendar visible in the calendar settings, I then have the option for what I want to view in the widget.

So, long story short, that didn't work well either!
