Switching From AT&T with Unlimited Data

I currently have an iPhone 4 from At&t and I am grandfathered into an unlimited data plan. I use about 1 GB a month on data, but I just like the feeling of security knowing I could use as much as I need. I am going to be bringing over a family plan, with up to 3 smartphones, when I go to get my GNex today. I know it is a super long shot, but does anyone know of anyway I could get them to grandfather me into an unlimited data plan for my line. Also are their any special offer codes or anything for people switching over from At&t. I would think they would love to grab a few more customers from their competitors.

If you never go over 1GB a month, you should be fine with the new promo they have where you get 4GB a month for the price of 2GB. The only way you could possibly get unlimited data is if you were grandfathered in or if you call corporate because it's an old plan and the people at the store can't give you an old pricing structure. Even at corporate they have to request it and then it is either accepted or denied 2 days later.

I did this and got my mom and dads 4g samsung stratusphere (butchered name....)
unlimited data i took off the Mobile hotspot for my moms and she still has unlimited data after 2 weeks.

about to do it for my phone too once i get the nexus..

Btw i switched from Sprint to Verizon in November!

Hmmm interesting, I will have to give that a try. Anybody else know of special offers/discounts for switching to Verizon?

there very little to no way this will be possible sorry heres the two things to consider if verizon wanted convert customers badly they would advertise for it, people already looking to switch are more than likely unhappy with current service or device and they have something you want so half of the selling is done for them.

sorry but def take advantage of the double holiday data i just ordered my nexus and opted for the 4gb of data for price of 2 i debated the 10gb but i rarely go over 1gb since im on wifi always and theres no LTE in my area yet.

Yeah, I live the in the chicagoland area and LTE is everywhere and I am just concerned that with the new found speed I am going to be using it all the time. Thanks for the help, though. Guess I will just go with the Double Deal on the 2gb plan and see how things play out. I am assuming they have no problem with you uping the data later on?
