Switching from Rezound to Razr

I used to be a huge HTC fan, and for a while thought they were the only one who made an android phone in which I was interested. But after having an HTC phone, Samsung (Galaxy SII), and now a Razr, I'm kind of over HTC and Sense. Not because they are bad by any stretch, as they're not. More than anything, I just fell out of love with Sense. It's just too much for me, and almost feels like its own OS completely since they just about hide everything from Android and replace it with their own overlay. Samsung and Motorola seem to be doing a good job of adding their own stuff, but also letting the parts of android that work just fine still come out. Plus, Sense puts such a draw on the processor that even with the new dual cores, they still seem to get just a bit laggy every so often (though not nearly as bad as they once did), and it just feels like it's always running just a bit behind where it should due to running sense. Admittedly I have not played with the Rezound, and it may be a huge step up, and to the general consumer it may not be that noticeable or a drawback, but I guess I still get flashbacks to all the lag and freezes and it just scares me away from HTC anymore.

Thank you.

Thats the part that I truly dont understand about ppl that hate Blur so much and love stock Android so much.

Blur is as close to stock as you can get, followed by Touchwiz. Sense UI is a smooth, fluid experience for the most part....but its like you said...its almost its own OS.

Just a quick update. I exchanged the Rezound, now I have the Razr. From what I can tell so far, as one would expect, the Motorola device has better signal and way better battery life. I'm happy again.
At work I'm getting about 40db gain which is huge. Also my wrist us not fatigued by holding the razr for long periods of time reading and what-not

In my experienfe Motorola phones tend to have the best cellular connectivity (not surprising considering they INVENTED the cel phone), and if I didn't already have a Bionic I would be getting the RAZR in a second, removable battery or not.

Hey...if anything....Motorola phones do work good as phones vs most other phones. For me battery life and reception comes first, everything else 2nd.

Im looking into maybe exchanging the rezound for the razr or iphone 4s

I haven't tried the Rezound but I have no complaints about my Razr. Honestly this was just going to be a rental phone until the nexus came out but I am so impressed with it I think i am going to keep it.

The build quality is amazing, the battery life is phenomenal (way better than i expected), the phone is fast as hell and quite frankly it just looks sexy to me.

I've went through a few different Android devices since my original Droid and they have all been disappointing. But this time it's far exceeded my expectations.

Nice to hear all these comments. I just checked out the Razr and Rezound at Verizon today. Was planning on waiting for the Nexus but the Razr was so nice, I might not be able to make it. We'll see.

LOL your wrist got fatigued by holding the Rezound? You're gonna need a hand cart when you decide to get a tablet, LMAO.
