Switching Gear S3 from S8 to Iphone 7

Total disaster. The IOS Gear app sucks. I also had to reset my S3 and lost a watch face. Gave up and will keep it on my S8 where it works fantastic.

About the reset part, it has been like that since the begining and it's a pain... You can have a couple of Gear Watches (I had the S2 and S2 Classic last year) and you can switch between them, but you can't use multiple phones with the watch at the same time, even between different Android phones. I read somewhere that it was something that it was supposed to be fixed but I haven't seen that yet.

I thought Samsung had gotten the iPhone interface all worked out? Not an iPhone guy, but thought it was working.

In addition to the difficulties in setting up the Gear S3 on the Iphone, Apple has limited many of the applications. You can look up the articles.
