I really appreciate any help on this- if I were to flash the GPE OS onto my TMO HTC One, would the new system push out updates as if it were a GPE phone?

Thanks!

I've seen a few people get the new security update on their gpe Roms. So it is possible, but those updates won't work. You would have to fully convert you phone to a gpe version. You have to be s-off and then flash the ruu for you device I believe. Can't tell you exactly what to do cause I haven't done it but check out xda, they have plenty of threads to help you do it. Or even YouTube.

I don't think you need super CID.

Once you flash the GE ROM, then flash the GE stock recovery - then the OTA updates should install normally. It did for me, once I flashed the stock recovery.
