Switching phones and want to move contacts

I am looking to purchase an unlocked Android phone and I want to move my contracts over (from one Android phone another new Android phone) in a flawless and easy method. Do I even need to worry as they are attached to my account? I have a HTC One M8 and I am looking at other Android phones to replace my current phone.
