Okay, I was about to buy the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier, until Android Wear 2 came out. I think the S3 Frontier is the best looking smartwatch out now, however, I think Android Wear 2 OS is better (more features) than Tizen OS.

Anyway, on to my real question:

I wonder if it is possible to switch the black band from the blue watch chassis with the grey band from the silver watch chassis? I really like the silver watch, but would like it with the black band.................any "hardware hackers" looking at giving it a go!

Michael
PS. Most productive device for me was the Palm III. Long lived Palm OS!

I have both. I'm selling the s3 this weekend. Tizen is just so bad compared to wear. S3 def looks better....But LG watch is much better.

Hi Michael,

The Urbane LTE 2nd Edition has a compatible band that people like me ordered from Korea. Those bands also had antennas built into the band, so we retained LTE functionality. I would assume the radio is in the watch, so the bands for the LG Watch Sport and the Urbane LTE 2nd Edition *Might* be compatible as from the pictures, the screw placement looks the same.
Here is a link to one of the threads in the Urbane LTE 2nd Edition that discusses the alternative bands.
