Switching to Note

Currently using Nexus 6P and Project Fi. Really like Project Fi, but my 6P is starting to have issues after 3yrs. Really intrigued by the S-Pen, never had a Samsung phone. I do have a Samsung tab I like.

I will most likely get the unlocked version from Samsung and go with T-Mobile as they have the best overall unlimited data plan. I get good T-Mobile signal now where I live.

Question for those who have an unlocked version phone. What are the default installed apps? I do not want FB or Instagram on my phone, so if its on by default can I remove it?

Most apps can be removed. Those that can't can be disabled. Facebook and Instagram are both completely uninstallable. I can't remember if either were there by default, but I don't use Facebook and have no trace of it or Messenger on my Samsungs (Note8 and now S9).

LG V35 may be a better option if you don't use S-Pen much. I got one from Project Fi and it offers $300 credit now.
