Swype doesnt work on Xoom right?

Check out SlideIT Keyboard in the App Store. It's about six dollars, and very similar to Swype.

I decided to purchase it after the trial; compared to Swype, it's a mixed bad.

GOOD:
More control over words that get added than Swype, and easier to remove unwanted entries.

BAD:
Get ??? errors far more often. Swype is simply amazing on my Droid X -- even a jagged scrawl that comes close to the letters often gets the right word. SlideIT just gives up, far more often.

I wish Swype was available, but I'll settle for SlideIT for now.

I have Swype on my OG Droid and love it, but I don't see the point of it for a 10" tablet. Sliding your finger across so much screen would only slow you down, and Thumb Keyboard is simply amazing.

I tired SlideIT and I agree there are way too many errors. Not nearly as good as Swype. I took it off my Xoom. Hopefully Swype does make a tablet version.

I disagree. Even though I do not think SlideIT is good enough to use, from a speed factor I feel Swyping is much faster then typing. When my Xoom is on a desk in it's case I can Swype much faster then typing.

I agree with darkshade. I couldn't see using Swype on the big screen, even though it is my keyboard of choice on my Thunderbolt (was on my OG Droid and Droid X as well).

Thumb keyboard rocks. Swyping in that big screen wouldn't really be possible if you were holding it in landscape I don't think...

I tried slideIt and I could not see what I was typing until I exited the keyboard.

Go into settings and then go to advanced settings. make sure to uncheck the setting about landscape mode view.
