Swype on tbolt

I downloaded that swype beta and in the settings I have it so it is supposed to automatically input a space. It does it with every program that uses the keyboard except sms.

Any idea why or anyone else with the swype beta have this issue?

Yeah, I have the exact same issue. Everything but SMS.

It's a known issue on the Thunderbolt.

Interstingly enough though, if you press the mic icon and speak the words, the spaces are entered properly.

Swype says it's not an issue so nothing will be fixed its an issue with the default messaging app they claim try gosms pro or handcent it works fine on those or use the Swype apk for the evo that works too

my swype works great with my smspro, i don't look back. Just wish there were more swype keyboards to choose from.

Download a copy of Swype for the EVO 4G. That's what I did and it works great.

Plus, no Swype Installer app and no escorting beta. Search this forum, I have posted a link before.
