Hi there,

I have my Kies set so that my contacts in Outlook don't go from my PC to the phone, as I don't want all these office contacts on my personal phone.
However I DO want my outlook calendar to transfer....when I sync it to my Kies, it will only go one way and I can't figure out how to put the outlook calendar information onto my phone...Im getting stressed..

Google made a product that did that but they stopped supporting it for free users of gmail and have only made it available for paying/business google accounts - it was called Google Calendar Sync. Worked great and synced either way or both ways. I still have a copy of the executable if you want it. It still works if you install it before 1/30/13 per their site. Let me know if you want it.

Do you have a hotmail/outlook email account? If so you can set up active exchange on it to sync calendars that way with both pc and email client.

Im confused.

Basically hotmail has become outlook mail. I receive my calendar updates across ofice2013/outlook email client and Android by going thru my active exchange setup thru my outlook email online.

You may want to look at a 3rd party product like CompanionLink. It has all the options you need to handle Contacts separately from Calendar, and to automate the sync process. CompanionLink for Google will go from Outlook to Google Calendar. CompanionLink for Outlook has a direct connect to any Android phone. There's a 2 week free trial and it's $14.95 after that.

I don't want to have to pay for an app, nor should I have to. My blackberry did it for free, and I think its a pretty basic need??
