I am currently using the Facebook Messenger as my default messaging app. I have it set to show messages from both the Facebook Messenger and the original messaging app that came standard loaded on my phone (LG-E980) which it seems to be doing successfully. So here's the problem, and I know it's not life threatening, but it's killing me anyway. The Messenger theme or colors or label what ever you want to call it can be customized, but the standard SMS doesn't seem to be or at least I can's seem to figure it out. Now normally I wouldn't even take the time to seek help with such a trivial issue, but the default color in the SMS listings is the God Awful purple color and it's all over the place, absolutely driving me nuts. If I am unable to resolve this, I will probably un sync the apps and use them separately again. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for taking the time to research my little issue.

Scott.

Hahaha the very reason why I turned it on this morning and turned it back off two hours later haha. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to change SMS colors. I wish they had also included a separate tab for SMS and Messenger conversations. I sync my phone contacts' pictures with their Facebook accounts, and it's really confusing when I have both texts and messages from the same person, but in two different places on the same list. They need to work on the app a bit more :(

I agree, it's a nice concept, just hasn't been perfected yet. I just don't understand the appearance of SMS changed so drastically by moving it over into Messenger. I mean, it wasn't that HORRENDOUS purple color before? Why didn't they just leave it alone?
