I have a blackberry right now and I have it set up with my car so when I start the car and get in it automatically pairs and I can answer calls through my steering wheel, etc. this was built into my car. Will I be able to do this same thing once I get my evo? Seems like it should be an easy thing to do but I don't want to assume anything since I know little about android. Thanks.

I guess so. it's nothing to do with Android, but Blue tooth. You should go back find your vehicle manual, it should mentioned how to pair phone there. I do have same situation here. most importantly, it's password when you try to match, 0000 for most of time is default, but i recommend to check your manual first.

As long as bluetooth is turned on (on your phone), and you paired it to your car (like you did for your blackberry), it will work the same. If your car is like mine, and you're keeping the blackberry too, only one will be paired at a time.

My Droid works in my 2007 Acura TL with HFL, and in my 2009 Tacoma with an aftermarket Kenwood DNX6140 so I'm sure you will be fine.

Car kits are different

Actually almost all car bluetooth systems use 1234 for the pairing code. 0000 is used for bluetooth headsets and bluetooth speakers.
