Question Thunderbird versus Betterbird

What are the specific differences between Better Burn and Thunderbird.
I am currently running Thunderbird and all but Benbrooke may be but a choice.
They say you establish better bird right next to underbird But I'm not that techie and I wondered if anybody has had experience like this.
It took me forever to get Thunderbird running well so I don't want to mess things up. Is there a significant difference between the two.
I heard that both are robustly being supported but that's hearsay.

I don't even see am app called Betterbird in Google Play Store. Are you sure that's its name?

Hi,

Betterbird is a fork of Thunderbird, based on its code, with different GUI. Betterbird is available, as an example, for Linux distros.

However, on Android, Thunderbird is based on K9 Mail code (both have merged) and its GUI is very different of the usual Thunderbird GUI on Linux, Windows or macOS.

And I don't know of a Betterbird version for Android.
