Synching Galaxy S5 calendar app w/Google Calendar

Through some poking and prodding, I have figured out how to add my Google account to my Galaxy S5, and I have managed to get events from my Google Calendar to synch onto my phone.
My problem is that I cannot synch events created on my phone (S planner app) to the Google calendar on the desktop.
Anybody have any suggestions to offer?

Welcome to Android Central! The events have to be saved to the Google calendar account. If they're saved to your Samsung account, they won't sync with Google. I've never used S Planner, so I don't know the details--are you able to create a new event in S Planner that is associated with your Google calendar account?
