Synchrony financing

I'm assuming that Synchrony bank will send me an email when my first payment is due even though it says it's due Dec 5th?

If you had a trade-in, perhaps they considered the credit applied to your Synchrony account from that as having been in effect a payment (?)

I use Synchrony for Google and Amazon payments. Separate accounts. I am not sure about reminders but I usually Just make a payment at the first of the month. They do email a receipt though. The mysynchony app is a convenient way to keep up with your balance as well as make payments. Any finance charge appears also.

The Trade in will indeed appear as a payment. I'm Not sure if that negates the need for a payment.

My credit showed up. It displays as a "Trade-in" instead of a "Payment".
