I can't seem to find any detail anywhere, but it does not seem that the custom SMS/MMS bubble colors you assign to contacts in Android Messages are synced between devices. I just moved from an LG V20 to a Galaxy Note 8, and after downloading Android Messages again, none of the previous color settings were retained.
Is there a local settings file on my previous device that I could copy to my Note 8 to transfer those custom text message colors over, or am I stuck manually changing every single one again? Surely, there has to be an easier way than that.
