Hi folks,
I have a question that needs answers. lol! I recently just left the iOS world. I've been enjoying the android so far. I picked up the galaxy s4 (at&t) and love it as well. My problem is related to syncing contacts to my cars telephone address book. On the iphone, when I setup my contacts to sync via these instructions it syncs only "My Contacts" (not "other contacts" that are in my gmail account). As you know. gmail saves all contact when you send or reply to emails. They are added on you contacts as a different category called "other contacts" in your account. . Since I went to android, these "other contacts have spammed by cars address book. Is there a way to not sync these contacts? I noticed theres a toggle for it under contacts settings, but it doesnt work. Please let me know if you guys have a fix for this. Yesterday I installed CardDAV to see if it will fix it. But the app runs the same the default mail client.
Thanks for your time.

Try just opening your contacts app on the phone then hit Menu->Import/Export->Share Namecard Via. Then you select only the contacts you want to send and hit Done. Select Bluetooth in the Complete Action Using dialog. Select your car bluetooth and only the contacts you selected should be sent to the car.

Thanks FF, but that sounds like a lot of work. Going through 300+ contacts. Plus what happens when I add a new contact? Will I have to redo the im/export again?
