syncing my nexus 7 with my galaxy S2

Hi

Whenever i check my e-mails (gmail and hotmail) and Facebook notifications on my Samsung galaxy S2 they disappear having been viewed. However when I later use my Nexus 7 all the notification I previously dismissed are there waiting for me to dismiss again. It's a little irritating but i'm guessing there is a simple solution? Amiright?

for gmail and hotmail they should go away, assuming you have push email set up on both. For most other apps like Facebook, there is no mechanism for it to know which notifications you've read on which device, the apps operate independently.

Thanks i didn't have my gmail sync active on my nexus.
