Syncing Samsung tasks with Google?

I really like the Samsung calendar app with built in tasks. Although there is a "Samsung Tasks" calendar, linked to my gmail account, showing up under Manage Calendars, I can't seem to get tasks I input on my phone to show up on my google tasks, or vice versa. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is there a way to make this work?

Before anyone suggests an alternate app, I have used and liked GTasks before, but the ability to have calendar and tasks all under one app and syncing with Google would be perfect for me. Any ideas? Thanks

I'm on Verizon, if it matters.

You can find posts going back and I'm sure, even further, as 2010, as Samsung and google tasks do not sync. It has never been resolved nor addressed by google nor samsung. Yes, Thousands of people, if not more, would love it if the tasks would sync without having to use a 3rd party application. Sorry for the bad news.

I recommend the Google calendar app. You have to down load it from the Play store but it works well with Google Calendar.

I think the topic has more to do with Tasks. Calendar is fine on both fronts.
