Syncing with custom domain email

I haven't picked up the Infuse yet (it's killing me but I haven't read anything about syncing to custom domain email. I'm concerned about this because I have to be able to receive my company email through GoDaddy, though I'm in the process of transferring away from them. Terrible company. Horrible owner, but I digress. Has anyone had a chance to check this?

You should be able to forward it to a (new) gmail account and then access it that way. You would customize the "from" and "reply to" options from within Gmail so people would think/see it as coming from your corporate email. I would set it up in Gmail first and see how it all works and once you have it how you want it, you can sign into the account from your Infuse, should you decide to purchase it.

If you are the owner of the "work" domain you may want to host it at gmail as opposed to forwarding through gmail. Forwarding adds delays and possibility of lost messages. See http://knowit.co.nz/2008/08/use-gmail-for-a-personal-domain-name
