Dick the labels never showed as a razr or a maxx, just a removable drive. At least for me...

Ok, just to be clear, you're saying you did reboot your computer and your phone?

Also, shot in the dark, are you using the actual USB cable that came with the phone, or a 3rd party cable? Not every cable is interchangeable--the old 3rd party USB cable that I had for my Droid Incredible fits my Maxx, but doesn't charge it.

You know I wondered that myself. I THINK it's the original cable..has black tag with green Ecomoto writing on it and the other is a black tag with red V cast lettering.

FIXED!!
It was the drivers, for some reason. Odd/very odd. Nothing else is or should have been changed. I think it's something to do with ICS.
But, if anyone needs them, HERE are the newest drivers.

For the apks download ea file explorer, hit menu button, hit manager, then app manager. It will allow you to back up individual apk for any app you have, and then you can move them from the back up location to your pc. That is the easier way of doing it I know of besides rooting and using titanium backup

Excellent, glad for the resolution. And yes, that cable is the original Moto cable.

Maybe I'll check out those drivers. Maybe it'll make my phone show up more quickly.

I just sent the apk to Google Drive and dnld from there onto my Fire.
