Also, look in your App Manager and find the System Message app. Are you able to uninstall it, or only Disable it?

I don't have an S7, so I can't be sure if that's a proper system app or an unwanted app. Usually, a system app would have a Disable button, and not an Uninstall button. How much data is it using? And what does the icon look like?

It has the same icon as beaming services.... A green man with a white symbol on his chest.
It has used 8.73g and I am on a 2.5g plan lol.
Internet has used 867mb :(
Maybe I can uninstall it with an app?

One of our Moderators, V Dub, checked his S7 and couldn't find that app. Go to Settings>Security>Device Administrators and tell us if anything is there besides Android Device Manager and Knox.

i have the same problem. that app system message is listed in the device administrators and also checked...I tried to uncheck it but with no luck. this app is not a standard file. something about a Trojan....and yes it is using my data up...and sometimes my phone start to warm up.

I have downloaded easy uninstaller but not even this can remove this app....the message I get is can't uninstall because this package is an active device administrator .....'manage device administrators'

Welcome to Android Central! That doesn't sound good.:( Is the checkbox greyed out in Settings>Security>Device Administrators?

Ultimately, you may have to backup your data and do a factory reset. However, if this is malware that installed itself to the system root, then you may have to go further than that, and reinstall the firmware. You can try with Smart Switch (SmartSwitch: Install & update or replace firmware) or with Odin (http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...w-flash-stock-rom-via-odin-new-interface.html).
