Android Central Question
My device is a regular Pixel 2 (Not XL).
I unplugged my phone at 9:30am this morning (at 95% battery life remaining) and the phone was running a little hot (as it always seems to lately). At around 2:00pm I checked the battery and it was at 23% battery life remaining. App usage lists 3 apps each having used 2%, 1%, and 1% (my phone, and a couple of messaging apps). I opened the graph and there is an entry called "System" that used a whopping 57% in just under 5 hours! Isn't that insane? The next closest entry was "Apps" and that was a measly (by-comparison) 9%.
Is there some way I can further diagnose this and find out what system process is causing these issues?
My phone will soon not be able to last a full workday :S.
