System UI not working

[Android Central Question]

My Note 8 has been hanging quite a bit lately and I get the error message System UI has stopped....I have done nothing (not messed with the developer options) and I am not sure what is happening...looking for help!

Most likely need factory reset .

Sometimes this problem is caused by a bug in the motions and gestures. Go to settings - advanced features and make sure all motions & gestures are switched off. Restart the phone and see what happens.
