System UI Tuner and menu/icon theme with Marshmallow S5

Hi I have been trying to activate the System UI Tuner on my Galaxy S5. I have just updated to Marshmallow today and for me personally I have not seen much change for over 800mb of an update! I have tried long pressing on the gear icon in the notification menu and also put animations back on in developer options. To no avail. Any help with this?
Also I saw that the S6 allows themes for the colour scheme of all menus and icons. Is this possible on the S5 without being rooted? I hate the bright menus of Lollipop and can't wait to get rid! Any ideas peeps?

Welcome to Android Central! I've read that the Tuner is not available in Samsung phones. I was actually under the impression before that it was only on Nexus devices anyway, but that might be wrong.
