System update notification comes up every 4 hours how to remove it??

I am really happy with my htc one m8 and i just don't want to download any update(4.4.4) is there a way to stop it better than having to delay it every 4 hours thanks

I think you can long press the notification, go to app info and force stop the app that handles update notification. You'll have to do this after every reboot

That way works it stops mine from coming up. Might come back if you power cycle but do that same thing.
