Lucky you. Its been 5 months for us in India that we got an update. Disgusting on LG's part to treat a premium phone in such a way.

Even here in the Philippines last update was still last year. However I'm not so excited with updates cos It's just fine now, incoming update might ruin what I'm enjoying now.

Can you please share more information about the update like a Screenshot, software version, changes (if provided) and the security patch level.

I totally agree. It is disgusting. There seems to be no logic to how updates are handled across Android or what phones carriers allow to be updated. Seems like phones are turning into abandonware since hardware has plateaued the last few years and the manufacturers are working on the next gimmick instead of security/support on current devices.

Just saw an article today where LG has now claimed 20% of the smartphone market in the U.S. LG admitted that the Note 7 disaster sold a lot of V20s. Yet, I'm sitting here on the December 2016 security patch.
