T-Mobile $325 Promo Ends Nov 2

Just thought I'd post a heads-up. I spoke w/T-Mobile to verify some details on their 50% back Pixel 2/XL promo. The phone needs to be purchased by Nov 2 in order to qualify for the offer.

Activation can happen whenever the phone is delivered, and the $$ (MC gift card) is supposed to arrive "6-8 weeks" later.

To clarify, according to T-Mobile, "You have within 30 days of receiving your device" to complete the online rebate form, which obviously requires that a line be activated.

I've always assumed you have to stay on T-mobile for a certain amount of time after getting this deal (or you'd need to pay some kind of penalty to make up for it), but I cannot find anything saying how long you need to remain on the plan.

Just to confirm, activation = add a line? I ordered at launch, will get the phone early next week. i can go to costco and open a new line next week and that should work right?

TMobile is month to month if you're not financing anything from them

Yeah, open new line, pay for it until you get the card and cancel. So $325 - two months or so of the line

Very nice. That's awesome. Lol, thanks Google for not taking a release seriously. Phone was supposed to be here yesterday or today. But, because they can't seem to get their heads out of their butts, myself and many others are left in limbo.

My order still says it should arrive in October 31, Nov. 1st. If you go to the website, XL2's are shipping Nov. 5th.

Bigly sad.

You'll need to provide your proof of purchase which shows you bought within the promo period and qualify for the offer. You just need to activate within 30 days of getting your phone.

I wish I could have a proof of purchase. Google held the charge for seven days, that's normal. Then refunded it, again normal. Then, nothing. No charge, no date to shipping date. Just nothing. Google store still says it was supposed to ship on the 30th. And to expect delivery on the 31st or 1st. Lol.
