Yes, T-Mobile does support ESim. My Gear S3 on T-Mobile has an ESim and it has its own number. The question is will T-Mobile support the ESim in the Pixel 2.

In case anyone is still trying to do this:

- T-mo has taken the promotion off their website
- CS will tell you the promotion has ended. It hasn't. You're eligible a month from buying the Pixel 2/XL
- Go to https://promotions.t-mobile.com/OfferSearch, enter code 17PIXEL2HALF. (PIN is usually last-4 SSN)
- You need to upload proof of your IMEI (screenshot or box end) and receipt. Have these ready to upload before you apply.

BTW, T-Mo's tether throttle really sucks. Can't wait to get back to Fi.

Yeah you're good as long as you purchased before Nov 2nd and fill out the rebate form in 30 days. I just filled mine out after using the benefithub promo to get another $100 gift card and free Sim when opening the extra line for the pixel.

Yeah you're good as long as you purchased before Nov 2nd and fill out the rebate form in 30 days. I just filled mine out after using the benefithub promo to get another $100 gift card and free Sim when opening the extra line for the pixel.

Nice. That will offset the two months of plan charges while keeping the line open waiting to get the $325.

Why not add a lime then cancel it as soon as you receive your promo card.... Once you submit for it you can cancel the added line... I'm a T-Mobile employee fyi. I bought the phone from Verizon cancelled service the day of receiving the Pixel XL 2 and added a line to my T-Mobile account... I've submitted for the reimbursement and will cancel the added line when the submission is approved. Simple as that.

Oh it will definitely do that lol... Adding a line to my family plan is only 20 a month then I'll get 10 back for data kickback. It should only cost me $20 total by the time i cancel the line to get the $425 in gift cards.

The T-Mobile site says "...newly added lines, must remain active and in good standing until the rebate has been processed which takes, on average, 6-8 weeks from the time of activation"

So you're saying "when the submission is approved" occurs sooner than "rebate has been processed" and cancelling a line at that point is good enough? How would a non-employee know when that approval occurs prior to actually receiving the rebate?

You sound so much like me I started to question if I wrote this. Planning on doing same. By trading in original pixel I'm almost getting half back then taking that to TMobile will get me unlimited and out of go with a newer phone for cheaper!

So I emailed the promotions support and they advised me they do have the submission and it does take up to 8 weeks which I knew and I said I was frustrated with the status check process. So the next day I get an email from them saying that my submission checks out and meets the requirements and they will be sending me the rebate. I also checked the status online and it appears that I misjudged the message as it is more like a unable to search rather than my submission rejected. Finally some light at the end of the tunnel.

Well, I was wrong yet again. The actual wording is "Your submission for 2017 Pixel 2 Promo is currently being processed and validated for service requirements as stated in the promotion terms." I am not in the clear at this time....
