T-Mobile 4.3 OTA Live

uick question guys. I updated my One with no issues, my contact pictures in my stock messaging app keep blacking out and are not displaying. After I double tap the home button and close the application it starts working again, until i open the thread and send another message. Any workarounds on this before i factory reset this thing?

4.3 update installed here with no issues except for one broken app. btw I had the camera focusing issue (couldn't focus) when I got my phone and ending up sending it to HTC because there is no patch for it and t-mobile was giving me the run around big time saying there would be a patch for it. Thankfully HTC told me the truth.

The reason this has been a slow download, in some cases, is that ours phones are pulling the update from a pool of users. Doesn't matter how fast your speeds are, it depends on the time, date, and location.

Also, the camera focus has been a problem/design issue for the One. It has been created to let in more light, and is sensitive to movement. Also, takes time to focus and get the right exposure before the capture happens. Imagine a machine, like in the cartoons, that uses a pulley system to put bread in the toaster delicately and perfectly (aka: HTC One). Now imagine using your hands, like most everyone does, and throw them in the toaster yourself (aka: other smartphones). What happens in the end? You get toast. Maybe darker, or better than the last, maybe not. Good enough lol.
