I'm on Google Fi. Today when updating apps on my phone I noticed that one of them was for T-Mobile but I've never installed any apps from them, I've never been a T-Mobile customer. I was able to delete one app but not a second one. I'm kinda peeved about that.

I don't have a Pixel 4 (yet) so I can't say for sure, but this kind of thing isn't entirely unusual. For example, certain preinstalled system apps specific for Verizon (the one I'm thinking of is some APN library) or Sprint are common on some phones. It may be something that's necessary in case the user decides to bring this unlocked phone to that particular carrier at some point.

This has been seen on google pixels 4 , and as far as I know only way is to factory reset that a team member has done to fix it @davidnc

Maybe something you should report to GoogleFi support. It might be a bug where when you connect to a TMobile network it wants to install their apps but it doesn't realize your device is a GoogleFi device.

I had a chat with Fi and I had to uninstall updates tothe Google Play Store app and reboot my phone. It worked.

Oh ok i see you got it fixed . Was not as bad as my issue was .You had a quicker fix then what I went tho :)
