In the settings for my Note 8's T-Mobile account app, there's a switch to enable fingerprint login. If I try to turn it on, it stays on for a split second and then spontaneously reverts to the off position. And each time, it sends me an email saying "Success! Fingerprint Login Update Complete!".
I've checked and fingerprint login is in fact not enabled for the app--there's no mention of it on the app's login page, and if I touch the fingerprint sensor it's just ignored. I do have fingerprint login enabled for the phone itself, and it works properly. And I have other apps that successfully use fingerprint login.
Have any other T-Mobile users encountered this problem? Anyone know how to fix it? Clearing the app's cache doesn't help.
