Whether you used AppleTV or not, it's just another perk stripped from us. Effective 2026 it will no longer be free.

Just got a message.

The principle behind it is what ticks me off most. Just like Google is turning into Apple, T-Mobile is turning into Verizon. From the cool kid disrupting the industry to a complacent corporate fart-nozzle that's unrecognizable.

Got the text. I am cancelling Apple TV before the end of the year. Don't need it.

Hulu is disappearing too. It is being integrated with Disney Plus.

Netflix is the last one I will have left for free. I am sure the price will go up and T-Mobile will make us pay the extra charge.

Undoubtedly.

AppleTV I really only watched Hijack and Monarch and a few original movies. It's not worth it at any price.

Hulu in it's own right is insulting with the number of ads and duration of them. Bundling with Disney, both intern level designed cluttered apps being combined with content from other providers is a giant mess and a justification to increase prices. I really don't care if that goes. Ads are unbearable and if Disney gets added price goes up.

Netflix is acceptable with ads but the content for the price isn't, though however they seem to be shifting away from so much original content and back to buying licensing rights.

I'm really getting fed up with T-Mobile even media aside. No price lock, retiring plans every few months, less for more, etc..

The world is in progress of becoming a subscription to exists.

I can't agree more and it's absolutely ridiculous! God forbid you want to try and watch your local baseball or hockey team!!
I'm about to go out and get a digital antenna and say F it all!

I'm surrounded my mountains. I'm SOL. I'd love to do that. On the other hand the whole ATSC 3.0 debacle continues. I'd wait it out and see if 1.0 is actually getting shut down or not

I haven't been able to watch in the last several years.

It infuriating! I grew up on Long Island and was able to watch the Braves on TBS regularly. I now live in the Metro Atlanta area and can't get a game on TV to save my life! Thankfully I'm not a huge baseball fan and I've found a pretty reliable (free) streaming app for NHL games ... The whole situation has gotten out of control.
