T-Mobile Digits

Got my confirmation email, turned my cell off, called someone up from my watch and they confirmed it says I'm calling from my cell.

I've signed up for both betas. I have a second number that goes through my s7 edge and a duplicate number that rings my gear s3 with my original number. Everything works fine. I've even set it up to where calls to my original go to my Google voicemail instead of tmobile voicemail. Can't get my second number to do it though.
Now that I can have my gear s3 ring when someone calls my original number, I wonder if i can just leave the auto call forwarding option in the s3 turned off. I tested it without it on and off and there was no difference.
This Digits thing is too legit to quit

Anyone else still waiting? I got an email telling me to expect another email this week, but so far, crickets

Here's something to keep in mind: If you designate your S2 or S3 to be included in DIGITS, your number will be changed from the plan number to the Duplicate Line number during the Beta testing period. If you choose to opt out of the program, it will revert back to the number originally assigned to your watch. During the Beta program, your outgoing number will be the Duplicate Line number, not the number originally assigned to your watch. It's all kind of confusing right now, since it's just being implemented. So just a word to the wise. If you want your originally assigned watch number to continue showing as the outgoing number, don't register your watch with DIGITS.

The response on the support forum is that T-Mobile ties the S3 esim number to your phone, so you have nothing to do on your end. That's only for the one number/multiple devices option.

Yes. The esim is changed to duplicate number. Your original number doesn't work. If you decide to opt out of DIGITS, everything will be restored.

Just be patient. It'll come. Once you got the email, that means you're approved.

Right...they sent me an email a week ago letting me know they were trying to get to people in the order they signed up. I finally got a confirmation last night that it was setup & texts today giving me my beta number. Looks like the process took about 2 weeks from the time I signed up.

Can you use digits without turning on the multi line option on Galaxy Phones? It makes a visual mess of messenger and the dialer.

Well, the single number with multiple devices option isn't working for me. Waiting for them to fix it.

I've had nothing but problems with my phone since having second line added on Friday. Starting almost immediately I stopped receiving text messages which I didn't realize till Saturday. Spent weekend trying to fix, including wiping my phone, before figuring out it was the damn digits configuration that was causing the problem. Had them remove it entirely from my account but still today I am now unable to send texts unless I restart my phone every 2-3 minutes. Great idea but not worth the grief.

I signed up for one line on multiple devices. The only problem I seem to be having is some calls hang up before I can answer them. I have a GV number so it could be from people calling that number. I have also been using Hangouts & not the stock app so that could be the reason I've been getting my texts. IDK...

I am now having excessive battery drain on my s3. Charge at night. Sleep with watch on but have do not disturb turned on. By 6am my battery is at 80%. By 1pm my battery was at 25%. I had been in stand alone mode for about 2 hours. Is anyone having this issue?

I was hoping to use this to prevent the overly quick battery drain that my phone is going through due to the constant BT connection to my watch. Unfortunately, I'm seeing the same battery drain in my watch that you are. Apparently I'm better off carrying an external charger with me so the watch will last the 3 days I've gotten used to.

I also notice that Digits isn't truly syncing my "one number to multiple devices". The texts I try to send from my PC aren't received, and only the device (phone, watch, or PC) that I send a text from records the text. The result is that I have 3 partial conversations if I use all three with the same person. The texts and calls that are received all show from my primary number, so that's working.

I think this could be very cool once they get it to work.

Still waiting. This sucks. It seems like everyone else is able to get in the program except for me :(

I think it's random or odd how they selected folks as well. I got in but a friend of mine requested it 5 minutes or so after I did and has not heard anything since receiving the first email from them. We both got that email around the same time.

I just went to try and sign up again, and this time instead of just asking for my email, it had me log on to my t mobile account and set me up for digits. Now it says a 48 hour wait.

My only complaint so far would be the text messages not showing up on all devices. My messages sent via tablet never show up in my phone but the senders messages are there as if they had a conversation alone.

As far as calls my tablet shows me I have a call coming in before my phone does. My watch seems to ring at the same time as the phone when in stand alone.

This may be a VoIP thing, as this is what happens with Google Voice. Incoming calls ring to devices running Hangouts first and a few seconds later to cellular devices.
