T-Mobile - Forcing N6 to LTE Only.

Back when I was on AT&T, in order to get 4g out at my house, I had to use a setting that forced the phone to stay on 4g only. Otherwise it would drop back to 3g or even 2g. That's fine and all, but where we live the only Internet I can get is from tethering to my phone. So what I'd do is put my phone where it got the strongest 4g signal and set it as a WiFi Hotspot. This way we could get decent Internet speeds.
So, Long Story Short.....
I test drove T-Mobile a few months back because I wanted their unlimited 4g at our house, but I couldn't get anything better than 2g (edge) and I couldn't find a way to force my Note2 to 4g.
I'd like to give T-Mobile another try with my Nexus 6..

Is there a way to force the Nexus to 4g or LTE only?

I was reading through the app reviews and noticed the comment about forcing it to 3g to save battery life. I had forgotten about that trick.
