Did you get the dev edition because it has 32GB or because you want to unlock the bootloader?

Mostly for the extra storage, but the ability to unlock the bootloader was a nice bonus. I was able to cancel the order over the phone with motorola though so I guess I'll wait and see if this rumor pans out now.

Are you hoping to just wait and purchase when DE ships with 4.4? I know DE shipped with firmware update right after the update was announced.

Yeah. It would be just so stupid if T-Mobile's Moto X phones are priced higher than that of AT&T even after Motomaker is rolled out on T-Mobile

I would hope its the same or lower. Don't forget T-Mobile was charging more for the Nexus4 then Google was.

From the initial reports when the Tmo version was released, there was no exterior branding nor carrier apps. It also had the correct bands to run on AT&T and the bootloader was unlockable.

Wow. Why couldn't this phone have been available 5 months ago? Definitely would have gone for the Moto X over the S4 if it was $100+ cheaper. Oh well, I love my phone anyway

Is this something that was going to happen for sure? I want to jump over to t-mobile, but I really want the 32 gig model. And if possible, custom colors. I see the dev edition out, but I'm not fully understanding what it is.

Just a rumor stating Tmo would get MotoMaker on 11/8.
