I know that after you root your phone and download Root Explorer, you can block/freeze OTAs by renaming:

FWUpgrade.apk to FWUpgrade.bak
FWUpgrade.odex to FWUpgrade.odex.bak

SDM.apk to SDM.bak
SDM.odex to SDM.odex.bak

I renamed the FWUpgrades, but the problem is that I don't see SDM.apk or SDM.odex anywhere in system/apps, even when I search for it...

What can I do?

Are you currently receiving an update notification? If not, leave it as is and see if what you already changed works.

Yes. I am receiving an update notification and occasionally a pop-up to update as well. I just always postpone it, but it's still always in my notifications even after restarting my phone.
