This may be of use for those finding there T-Mobile HTC One orders from HTC being cancelled. Best Buy has the One up for pre-order for $249.99. HTC - One 4G Mobile Phone - Silver (T-Mobile) - HTC ONE GLACIER SILVER KIT
Yeah 699.99 off contract
It also says coming soon. Don't see where you can actually order it.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Android Central Forums
I was able to add a T-Mobile version to my cart at full price through Best Buy. I still need to resolve the status of my pre-order with LetsTalk, so I haven't tried to actually check out, but from all outward appearances, Best Buy will indeed let you order.
Oh that's cool. I'm done with worrying about a T-Mobile version at this point. I'll be fine with the dev version.
Until you realized you paid $650 for a phone stuck on EDGE.....
Interesting. So Best Buy isn't doing the whole 99 dollar for the phone thing? Seems odd.
Nope... I have 1900 in my area so I'm good and once LTE is launched in my area, I'll that too. I know what I'm doing.![]()
The problem with it is that, even though they say its done where your at, the full city is actually lit with it. A lot of people saying that (the iPhone people). Good luck though, I would love the 64GB one.
Trust me man. I know what I'm doing. We have already been using the 1900 band on iphones in my area since the beginning of the year. I don't drop 649 without knowing what I'm doing lol. Not sure why you're trying so hard to make me feel like I made a bad purchase when I know exactly what I need where I live. Thanks though.
I could be wrong, but my understanding is that the $99 upfront for the phone plus monthly installment payments is only available on the new "UnCarrier" plans, and the new "UnCarrier" plans are only available directly from T-Mobile, so it would make sense that Best Buy isn't offering it.
My situation is similar. I had a Iphone 5 and used it in my city were 1900MHz is available. It was spotty in my house (switching back-n-forth from 3G to Edge) but it worked well once I was out in town. I was getting pretty good data speeds, not as good as my nexus 4 but, pretty good.
I bought the 64GB dev version of the HTC one also and think it will work similar or maybe even better than the Iphone did.
Ah, I was under the impression all the plans were switching over to uncarrier plans and there would be no more "contract" plans.
