I have this feeling... because Samsung released three June updates and T-mobile was forced to validate each one since the latter two didn't seem to be planned. Not to excuse their slow as molasses validation since the 3rd patch was released on the 17th. It shouldn't take them 13+ days to check whatever crap they need to check.

Seen this happened before. Not sure why people just don't flash Unlocked firmware and get updates from Samsung.

I bought my note 20 ultra, straight outta Samsung with a tmobile sim card in tow. Why do my updates take so long. This is what I thought unlocked phones were for.

Not sure why they're playing this differently. My wife Note 20 is on June and I'm still in May.

My favorite thing is how they released a statement talking up how they are going to partner with Google and all this to make android a better experience.

Looks like the iPhone 13 will be my next phone. Love this samsung but when my battery life has tanked to the point of 15% at the end of the day with barely 3 hours sot. Tmobile can't push a simple fix to address at least that issue I am just done with this platform at this point.

Slow oem updates + slower carrier updates = garbage experience.

I'm not talking security updates, I don't care about that. When there are critical fixes for a phone and they make customers wait, it's plain [redacted by mod].

Updates in general for Android phones are a joke. Even phones that used to be considered fast at getting updates, like OnePlus used to be are now also struggling to get simple security update.

Personally I carry two devices a iOS (iPhone 12 mini) and a Android device.. so I don't really pay much mine to updates or consider them important....I always end up trading my Android device for the new yearly flagship.
