T-Mobile Launch on Friday 11/18

Great, 399. That means Verizon will probably be 499 smh. If only they would go ahead and announce it.

Well, when you can score an S3 Frontier for 100 bucks less starting on 11/20, that doesn't look like great news now...
There are two versions of the Frontier: the BT/WiFi only and the LTE. Can we buy the carrier versions directly from Samsung? If so, that would make the AT&T model $300 and T-Mobile's $350.

Well seeing that you can order the AT&T version from the Samsung site directly I would think that you would also be able to order the T-Mobile version ( when available ) and it would be really weird if they were different prices

If they can tie together calls and messaging, and do it well across multiple devices, it will be worth the extra cost.

The ATT and Bluetooth models are both currently $349 on Samsung's site, so they'll both be $300 on the 11/20 sale.

T-Mobile is smoking crack.

Not necessarily. For someone who isn't on a postpaid plan where a line for the S3 can be added for a nominal cost, T-Mobile has the cheapest standalone plan. The difference in purchase price would be recouped in a few months.

What's ATT charge? $10?
If so, you've got a great point.

Just saw T-Mobile is also tacking on $20 for the "sim starter kit." I'm still going to wait for Samsung's sale on Sunday.

AT&T is $10 to add a wearable to an existing Mobile Share plan. Their stand-alone rate is higher.

AT&T charges $10 per month for an add-on line, Verizon and T-Mobile charge $5/mo. AT&T and Verizon put standalone watches on a regular smartphone plan, at a minimum cost of $35 or $40/mo respectively. T-Mobile has a plan specifically for wearables which cost $15/mo.

T-Mobile frequently runs promotions putting their SIMs on sale for $1. Otherwise, they can be purchased from vendors on eBay for $3-4 any day of the week. But remember, the S3 uses an eSIM, not a physical one.

Ordered today, yeah they tacked on a $20 Sim card kit, but it will be easy to call in and get that refunded.

Just picked mine up from a tmobile store driving through Amarillo, TX

T-Mo:

$5 extra/month for 500megs
$10 for unlimited data

I chose the $5. If streaming music takes me over 500megs, I'll just change online to the $10 plan.

T-Mobile and at&t customer here. I went with the T-Mobile S3 because they gave me a $50 account credit when I complained about the price and I also got the monthly service free thru their Magenta Day promo.
