t-mobile note 5 64 gigs spen use reboots phone constantly

Anyone else having this issue when using the spen? This is my second phone with this same issue. I can't use this pen. It reboots after using it no more 5 minutes. The screen freezes and then it reboots.

No, it is not normal. I very much suggest you take it back. If you're comfortable, you can use smart switch to reload the Note 5 software to see if it gets rid of this issue. I'm amazed that you got two in a row with the same issue. Keep us updated

For two in a row with the same issue, something tells me it's an app that is possibly causing this.

I suggest reset to factory, use it for a day as is and see how the devices does. Then start installing apps, s l o w l y, monitoring the use of the Pen...

Hey, just wondering if this ever resolved. I have the Sprint Note 5 and it does this too. Though it doesn't necessarily happen only when the S-Pen is out, just happens a lot more often.

Did you find an app that the culprit or did the factory reset solve your problem?

ah dang...so the factory reset didn't do anything? I just picked up the gold Note 5, it really sucks that it requires a replacement
