T-Mobile Nougat update no quick reply

So got my S7 update today on T-Mobile. I know nougat is supposed to let you quick reply a text message from the pop up window.. Well I wasn't getting the reply button. I cleared the messaging app cache and it worked. But then stopped showing it again after a minute. I then cleared the entire phone cache to no avail. Anyone have any other ideas besides a factory reset? Thanks in advance.

I always do a factory reset after a major upgrade and would highly recommend it. Just my opinion.
